We made it on our first flight headed for Istanbul! I will let you know when we are sitting on our last flight home!!
Hello everyone! Megan Rankin here again. Today was nice and relaxing. We had our last breakfast in the house and embarked on our journey to Entebe. We checked into the Uganda Wildlife Education Center and proceeded to lunch on a beautiful shore that looked out onto Lake Victoria. After filling our bellies we took off to look at the animals around the park. Some of us girls got the chance to hold a 180 pound python on our necks and he got a little scared and popped on us! Hehe. Dinner was pizza in the room that we're staying in... Very America of us. We're all anxiously waiting to go to the airport and trying out hardest to stay awake to maximize sleep on the airplane. We will post again when we are all safely on the first flight. Bye-bye for now!

Greetings parents... This Megan Rankin reporting live from Uganda. Today we had a wonderful, wet day at the beautiful peninsula Bethany Village. We enjoyed a energetic church service and then gathered in a home for lunch. After, we were taken around to the houses that the children of the school live in. They were so thankful and kind to us. On the way back, some girls stopped at another market to do some shopping with Mr. Fenderson and Mr. Chobanian. Dinner was awesome fried chicken and French fries. After a good debrief we all scatters to different rooms to hang out and do some typical team bonding. We all can't wait to get home and see you all. Please pray for travel mercies when we leave early Tuesday morning. See you all soon! (P.S. I love you mommy!!)

Good Morning! If you were hoping for your girls to return home with leftover money.......it is best you stop expecting that to happen. They did some serious shopping damage at the African Craft Village today. We left many happy vendors after our shopping spree, at a rate of 2,470 shillings to the dollar you can only imagine all the trinkets coming home! :-)

After another gourmet lunch with Maurice we headed over to the Primary School for AWANA. Definitely one of the highlights!! I think within about 30 seconds each girl had a young child holding her hand. It was a wonderful day full of beautiful interactions of love.

The girls and their finished masterpiece!! I am so proud of them.

Ello! Good day fellow friends and family! Lol today was a very productive day. We finished the mural at God Cares High School on the dormitory wall!! It turned out better than we ever could have imagined and we are so glad to be able to share it not only with the students at God Cares, but also with you all. As of right now we are happily eating at Cafe Roma, the best food we have had on the trip so far! We also had some guests tonight at dinner: Wilbur who runs the farm at Acres for Life at the College where we picked tomatoes and his family, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Altizer's daughter Morgan and her husband Jacob who are here working with the judiciary system with Pepperdine Law School and helping to improve the conditions here! We have gotten to hear a lot of amazing stories about all of the wonderful ways that God is working here through Wilbur and the Pepperdine group, and can't wait for our last few days here! We will be heading off to bed soon and tomorrow we go shopping for all of your wonderful presents as well as getting a chance to finally visit the primary school! Although our time left here is short, we are looking forward to all of the remaining opportunities here for us to serve. We miss you all and can't wait to see you on tuesday! Love Amber and Tess xoxo

Today's blog posts are written by Amber and Amy.
Yesterday was absolutely amazing to put it simply. We went out to Mubende and visited two primary schools. The kids there were absolutely adorable and it was so fun to get a chance to love on these kids and see the joy and life that they all have as well as being able to see how God is working through all of these kids. After we visited the schools, we got a chance to distribute mosquito nets to the surrounding villages. Just seeing the joy on their faces with such a simple gift was the most amazing thing in the world! One of the women that we gave a net to asked "what kind of amazing love ii it that someone would just give something like that to me" and it really was just an amazing thing to see how great that God is and how His love for each and every one of us can be seen everywhere in the world. That's the thing that I think I have noticed the most on the trip: how present and working God is in each and every one of our lives and in the lives of everyone I encounter. And the people here know it. That's one thing I am really going to keep with me when I get back and we are all so blessed to be able to have this experience. I can see God working through each and every one of the girls on this trip and it is such a blessing to get to share this with such amazing girls! Love you all!! Love, Amber

A quick visit to Standard Christian School in Mubende was a highlight for everyone.
As promised yesterday, today's blog is from your girls. They were asked to write about something they have learned or how they have been blessed.

The girls went to bed and forgot about the blog. I will have them write their thoughts tomorrow morning
The rest of today's update will come from your girls but they are in the middle of a guess that song game so it will be posted later.

We were experimenting with the sky and decided to use a different technique after we buy more paint.
